Saltwater Merman: (SOLD)

About the mythology:

The male version of a mermaid is called a merman the legendary aquatic creature with the head and torso of a human and the tail of a fish, primarily known to enjoy distracting humans, and even drowning them.

About the figure: (Miniature)

I wanted to do a merman that appeared to be swimming underwater. Since its dark in the depths of the ocean, and we as humans, cannot say all the species that may live down there...why wouldn't there be merpeople...or merfolk?
He has gills, no need to come up for air. He has been painted and shaded with greens, blues and rusts to accentuate each individual scale. His hands have webbing between each finger to make her a better swimmer. He has green glass eyes and tiny bubbles escaping from his nose. Built over a strong armature, he is sculpted from Premo. He is about 10 inches long in his bent, swimming position from his head to the tip of his fin. He also won the honor of Best 3D sculpture at Leprecon, a Science Fiction/Fantasy convention. (The ribbon was green...he seems to like it.)
